Orolight®
The first device integrating
circularly polarized light

Orolight® : a precision phototherapy device

Orolight® is a precision phototherapy device designed to deliver high-quality circularly polarized light, with a high level of optical control, stability, and precision.

100% of the Orolight® product development and manufacturing process is carried out in France. The reliability, performance, and quality of the device are ensured by a French laboratory specialized in the qualification and reliability of optoelectronic, photonic, optical, and electronic components and subsystems.

Modular and compact

Orolight® is composed of 26 independent applicators, each associated with a specific wavelength of circularly polarized light, either right-handed or left-handed.

The system covers a spectral range from 400 nm to 700 nm, with 13 wavelengths in right circular polarization and 13 in left circular polarization, enabling fine adjustment and high adaptability in use.

Each applicator is designed as an autonomous unit, allowing for localized, precise, and flexible application.

Their independence makes it possible to treat one or multiple points or areas simultaneously, offering a high degree of configurational flexibility.

Lightweight and portable design

The applicators can be mounted using support stands equipped with flexible arms and clamps, allowing for precise, stable, and adaptable positioning across different areas of the body. Lightweight and easy to transport, they can also be handheld when needed, enabling convenient use both in clinical settings and on the move.

Simple use

No specific protective equipment is required for the use of the device. Treatments can be performed in full daylight or in a dimmed environment, facilitating seamless integration into daily practice.

Optical excellence at the service of
therapeutic precision

At the heart of Orolight®’s design are two key principles : high spectral purity and near-perfect signal circularity. More than a conventional light source, the device has been engineered as a precision optical system, where the quality of the emitted light is defined by the rigorous control of these fundamental parameters.

A broad range of wavelengths with high spectral purity

Orolight® has been designed to deliver, for each applicator, a wavelength that is precise, stable, and clearly defined. This high spectral purity relies on a rigorous optical architecture, in which each emission is centered on a narrow spectral bandwidth, minimizing adjacent or parasitic components. In optical terms, higher spectral purity corresponds to a narrower bandwidth, resulting in light that approaches monochromatic emission.

The narrower and more controlled the spectrum, the more specific, stable, and reproducible the emitted light becomes. In precision optical systems, spectral purity is a key determinant of signal quality.

Unlike many conventional broad-spectrum light sources, this level of monochromatic purity is rarely achieved, giving Orolight® a higher degree of spectral precision.

High optical standard : 97%+ degree of circularity

The performance of a circularly polarized light signal depends directly on its degree of circularity. The closer the light is to pure circular polarization, rather than elliptical, the more stable, coherent, and precisely controlled the signal becomes.

Laboratory measurements have shown that a high degree of circularity directly influences signal quality and plays a role in how light interacts with biological tissues.

A more circular signal enables more homogeneous, consistent, and reproducible stimulation, supporting a more controlled biological response. From a therapeutic perspective, this contributes to improved coherence of application, consistency of the delivered stimulus, and reliability of protocols.

Orolight® delivers a circular polarization level above 97%, reaching up to 100% for certain wavelengths. This high degree of circularity is not only an indicator of optical performance, but also supports a precision-based phototherapy approach, where the quality of light stimulation contributes to the consistency of the biological response.

Low-intensity signal,
non-thermal emission

Orolight® delivers a low-intensity light signal, without thermal effects, within a non-invasive framework.

In phototherapy, moderate or low doses can induce favorable biological responses, while excessively high intensities may be less effective or even inhibitory.

Biological systems do not necessarily respond better to stronger signals, but rather to appropriately calibrated stimulation.

This approach emphasizes precision and controlled delivery, rather than a logic based on power alone.
